Vingstedcentret
Vingstedcentret is placed in the middle of the small river valley that branches into the nature park of the area. For more than 100 years, people have met at Vingsted, and the area bears the stamp of its special history. In 1903, the first of many big sports meetings took place here. During the 1930'ies, a new stadium and a youth hostel were added, and in the early 1970'ies, a school- and course wing was inaugurated. Today, Vingstedcentret is a modern course- and conference centre, which - in addition to a number of conference- and meeting facilities and a cosy restaurant - offers 171 rooms with bath and toilet plus camp school facilities, well furnished camping huts and a camping ground.

You will find a large number of possible activities at and around Vingstedcentret. For example, indoors is a large swimming bath with diving boards, spa bath, solarium and sauna - outdoors there are facilities for playing mini golf, petanque/bocchia, tennis and beach volley.
Vingstedcentret is a perfect starting point for wonderful nature experiences. There are many paths for peacefuI walking and bicycle trips in the area. For example, follow the Bindeballestien, a marked route that leads to Bindeballe Købmandsgård (a grocer's house) from 1897, still functioning and with a unique collection of old signboards, furniture and goods.
Close to Vingstedcentret is Vingsted Sø (lake), a so called 'sacrifice lake' from the Iron Age, and the nearby 'Ravningebroen', a reconstruction of a bridge from the Viking period.
If you fancy a game of golf, 'green fee' for five attractive golf clubs can be bought at the reception, an if you prefer fishing, the reception gladly helps you find some of the good 'Put and Take' lakes nearby.
